With Alexa, parents can ask for school or homework updates. All they need to do is enable the Alexa skill that matches the system your school uses - whether it's Canvas, Infinite Campus, ParentSquare, or Kickboard.
All you need to do is spread the word by telling parents how to get started with Alexa at home...
How it works
Select the system your school uses...
With the Canvas Alexa skill, parents can ask Alexa for school or homework updates, using any Alexa device or the Alexa app. To get started, parents will need to enable the Canvas skill and link their Canvas parent account.
WHAT CAN PARENTS ASK ALEXA?
- "Alexa, are there any updates from the school? "
- "Alexa, does Jamie have any homework due today?"
Alexa will respond with school updates or homework information that are available from Canvas.
With the Infinite Campus Alexa skill, parents can ask Alexa for school or homework updates, using any Alexa device or the Alexa app. To get started, parents will need to enable the Infinite Campus skill and link their Infinite Campus Parent account.
WHAT CAN PARENTS ASK ALEXA?
- "Alexa, does Hannah have any school messages?"
- "Alexa, does John have any homework?"
- "Alexa, what do the kids have due tomorrow?"
Alexa will respond with school updates or homework information that are available from Infinite Campus.
With the ParentSquare Alexa skill, parents can ask Alexa for school updates, using any Alexa device or the Alexa app. To get started, parents will need to enable the ParentSquare skill and link their ParentSquare account.
